Yesterday, day 2 of the IDC started off well with a good talk on planning and teaching in the confined water. One of the exercises during this talk is to practice organization of one of the confined sessions, in this case confined water 3 from the open water class and the rescue session 3. Both groups did a good presentation and certainly put a lot of thought into the session. Now to put it into action. This afternoon we headed for the pool for everybodys first confined session. Now executing your plan is never as straightforward as just planning it on paper. Everybody did a great job, even with some problems thrown in, some upside down regs, lack of hand signals and ever problematic "no bubbles". For a first session, well done guys, I am already planning what I can throw at you next time ; )
